No wall, pool edge, pillar or gate post is truly finished until it is capped. Ebel Quarries cuts limestone coping and caps in five stone types, so the finishing course can be matched to whatever stone the rest of the project uses.
Five Stone Types, One Product
Coping and caps are cut from Ebel Mocha Ridge® (Brown Limestone), Eramosa, Algonquin, Beige or Black Limestone, and Ebel Pearl® Limestone. Whichever of these five stones is used elsewhere on a project, the same coping and cap program is available in it, so pool edges, walls, pillars and gate posts can all read as one continuous material.

In the trade this same finishing course goes by several names — coping, caps, capstone, or toppers. All describe the same product; none is an Ebel-owned brand name, and any of the five stone types can be specified under any of these terms.

No wall or pool edge is complete without this finishing course. It creates the classic, rugged look that lasts a lifetime, whether the top is left natural, sandblasted or flamed and the edge is sawn, guillotined, sandblasted, handrocked or profiled. Coping and caps can be ordered in random lengths across three thickness bands — under 3", 3" to under 5", and 5" to 8" — or custom cut to meet your specifications.
